I Want a Girl

“Somewhere someone is thinking of you. Someone is calling you an angel. This person is using celestial colors to paint your image. Someone is making you into a vision so beautiful that it can only live within the mind…” – Henry Rollins.

I want a girl who’d watch the stars with me
And to which her presence brings so much glee
One who when she echoes my name
Releases passions that were tamed
A girl who without havin’ to say any word
Knows my every thought
I’m in search of a Girl in particular
And yes maybe I found her
Not necessarily havin’ beauty or curves Just that she’s dazzlin’ as it comes
A girl with an appreciation for art and science
Who could make a whole conversation in silence
She’s one with eyes so pure
They have the capability to cure
She’s one with a smile
That could make ordinary men divine
A girl who when she says “Hi”
Makes your spirit roar high
She’s the one I searched for
And findin’ her was tough
I kissed her lips
Fragmented scent of tulips
She held my hands
Come whatever the trends
I whispered in her ears
And she wiped away my tears
She sits with me in the dark abode of my den
While I try to make something of my pen
She has a penchant for laughter
And can’t bear to see things scattered
She’s far from royalty
But has an air of regality
I want a girl who’d accept me for me
And who wouldn’t won’t hurt me
A girl who at the end of the day
I could call mine.
