They look up to the sky to see God,
to seek him. Maybe he’s truly up there fixed, sitting on a golden throne
or maybe they hope to find him there, who knows?
I see God in the laughter of children, the smile etched on faces, I
see him when someone renders a selfless act. There’s God in the gushing sounds of water,
the rush of winds,
the taste of ice cream on the tongue the warmth of fire. There’s God everywhere,
in everything, in everyone.
There’s God within me, I am God.
